 Mayor’s Office Internship Program

The Mayor’s Office Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn about and contribute to city government. Interns are assigned to a department of the Mayor’s Office and work closely with all levels of local government. They are assigned to substantive projects providing research, administrative, and staff assistance to city officials in various departments across the enterprise. Our goal is to provide interns the opportunity to learn about careers in local government, hear from city leaders, and experience the day-to-day operations of a City.
“Through this internship program, you join me and my administration in bringing Indianapolis towards a brighter and better tomorrow.”
 – Mayor Joe Hogsett

The Spring 2019 Mayor’s Office Internship Program application is now open.
