Applications for the position of Sworn Patrol Officer are accepted on a year-round basis. If you are interested in applying, you may complete a preliminary application online or pick one up at one of the following Indianapolis locations from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (EST), Monday through Friday.

Individuals who live outside a 50 mile radius, and who do not wish to submit an application online, may request an application by writing to the address listed below or through e-mail to our Recruiting Officer. Please include your full name and mailing address.

Original applications must be returned to the Human Resources office -- NO faxes or copies will be accepted.
During the screening process, you must immediately notify Human Resources of any changes of your name, address, or telephone number as they occur. Failure to do so could result in a significant delay in your receipt of screening process notifications and may also result in your removal from the process. You may print out a .pdf version of a Change of Personal Information Form, fill it out, and mail it to the address at the top of the form.
