Welcome to the Marion County Justice Agency Site

The function of the Marion County Justice Agency shall be to provide coordination services to criminal justice agencies and courts. The agency shall also perform those responsibilities delegated to the Criminal Justice Planning Council relating to coordination and oversight of long-range planning and forecasting of criminal justice, information technology needs, law enforcement and detention resource needs for the county. 

The agency is responsible for conferring with appropriate city, county, regional, and federal agencies concerned with law enforcement and administration of justice to suggest and recommend standards for the efficient administration of the criminal justice system.  The ultimate goal of the agency is to improve the criminal justice system in Marion County.
