Cave-Ins

Cave-ins are not chuckholes or potholes.  Cave-ins look like small, and sometimes very large, depressions in the pavement or concrete of a street.  Some cave-ins are actual holes in the concrete - sink holes.  They happen as the result of a variety of circumstances and should be reported immediately to the Mayor's Action Center (MAC) at 327-4MAC or visit the MAC online.  Once reported, a township coordinator will secure the area, inspect the cave-in and determine what work is necessary.  Reporting cave-ins helps the city proactively maintain and protect its infrastructure.
