Households with hand collection are allowed up to ten (10) bags/containers of acceptable trash per week.

Acceptable Trash Containers
Place all trash in bags. Trash can come loose when emptied into the truck. Use standard plastic trash bags, leaving enough room above the bag's closure so the hauler can pick up the bag without damaging it.
Metal or plastic trash cans (5 to 32 gallon capacity) with handles and lids.
Trash carts (a giant trash container with wheels). Each cart counts as three containers toward your ten container limit.

Guidelines for the ten (10) bag/container program:
Shrubbery cuttings: Tie small limbs and twigs in bundles no larger than 3 feet by 3 feet. Each bundle counts as one bag/container.
Annual leaf collection period: you can leave up to 30 bags of leaves a week that should be separated from the usual trash pickup.
Empty boxes: Flatten and tie them into bundles no larger than 3 feet by 3 feet. Each bundle counts as one bag/container.
Vehicle tires: Tires without rims count as one item of trash. Tires with rims count as one item of heavy trash and can only be collected on your
heavy trash day.
