In an ideal world, there would never be any problems with the fuel delivery systems. In the real world, however, problems occasionally arise and they don't always arise during the IFS Fuel Section's 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM office hours. If you are fueling at one of the major sites and have a problem after hours, the gas line telephone is monitored by the DPW central dispatch office (327-1620). They will be able to give only limited help for mechanical problems at the site. If only one site is deemed to be "out of service," you will be directed to another fuel site. If more than one site is deemed to be "out of service" an on-call member of the Fuel Section will be dispatched to get the sites operational again. The dispatch office can not help with gas card related problems.
