Indianapolis Clean Stream Team members love to teach children about the importance of water conservation and stewardship. We have volunteers from the City of Indianapolis and the Department of Public Works who can provide support and technical expertise to Marion County schools.

Experts offer facility tours, seminars on environmental issues and data trends, and water quality monitoring. Geographic Information System (GIS) information/maps of local topography and waterways, local water source information and water quality data are also available for use in the classroom.

Many local and national programs exist that can assist educators in teaching their students more about cleaning our waterways. The Indianapolis Clean Stream Team supports many programs but collaborates specifically with Project WET and Science Bound.
