Response to proposed wellness facility at Eagle Creek

After reviewing the minutes from both neighborhood and community meetings and conversations with Don Colvin, Resource Development Administrator, and Tom Geisse, representative of the John F. and Mary A. Geisse Foundation, it is my decision not to pursue the planned proposal to build a community wellness center on Eagle Creek property. I do support the original master plan, which calls for hardening the surface of the parking lot and a small building for restrooms, concessions, and storage. As preparation is being made for the second phase of the master plan, you will be contacted to be a part of that discussion.
